Day 1: Arrival in Chitwan
- Fly or drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan.
- Warm welcome at luxury jungle lodge or riverside resort.
- Evening sunset canoe ride on the Rapti River (chance to spot gharials & crocodiles).
- Cultural program with Tharu dance performance.
- Overnight: Luxury safari lodge in Chitwan.
Day 2: Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park
- Early morning private jeep safari into the national park.
- Spot rhinos, wild elephants, sloth bears, deer, and (with luck) Bengal tigers.
- Picnic breakfast inside the jungle.
- Afternoon visit to Tharu village to learn about local traditions.
- Overnight: Safari lodge.
Day 3: Walking Safari & Birdwatching
- Guided jungle walk with naturalist. Learn about flora, animal tracks, and medicinal plants.
- Over 500 bird species — a paradise for bird lovers.
- Afternoon visit to elephant breeding center.
- Relax by the pool or riverside bar at the lodge.
- Overnight: Safari lodge.
Day 4: Canoeing & Community Immersion
- Morning canoe safari to see marsh mugger crocodiles, gharials, and riverside birds.
- Visit local Tharu community — cooking demonstration & hands-on meal preparation.
- Evening leisure at lodge with jungle sundowners.
- Overnight: Safari lodge.
Day 5: Return to Kathmandu or Pokhara
- Optional short morning birdwatching walk.
- Breakfast at lodge.
- Transfer back to Kathmandu/Pokhara by flight or private car.
